Mark Venneri = Pittsburgh Piano man

Mark started playing piano at the young age of 5.    Mark plays by ear and also studied at WVU.  He comes from a  musical family and has been a professional pianist/vocalist  for the past 20+ years.     Mark enjoys performing a variety of genres, R&B, Jazz, Pop, Country, and has many influences including Frank Sinatra, The Eagles, Michael Buble, Bob Marley, Sade, Van Morrison and Frankie Beverly to name a few.  Some highlights of his career, that have given him great satisfaction and provided him the unique experience of meeting some "legends" in the music industry, are opening for the TEMPTATIONS in 1992 in Toledo, Ohio at the Masonic Auditorium; and performing as one of the opening acts for the TINA TURNER concert in 1993 at the Star Lake Amphitheater. 

 While living in Pittsburgh, Mark performed with vocalists Gwen Davis and Sue Leslie , Sheena B. and Josie Crooks, as  well as his jazz trio - The Soul Katz with members Bill Holt on sax and  Mark Smith on drums .  He was also a member of two top 40’s bands in Pittsburgh; Protege and Studio E with the Gary Racan Studios.    

Since moving to Florida from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Mark has been performing regularly at several fine restaurants in the surrounding areas: The Grille at Riverview,  31 Supper Club,  The Hard Rock Hotel, The Stonewood Grill Daytona Beach, Baci, NSB Spice House and  Spruce Creek Country Club.   Mark's smooth vocals and live piano/keyboard music have become a crowd favorite in the area.  Mark performed at many different venues in Pittsburgh and feels blessed to have the same opportunities here in his new home in Florida.   Mark is also available for private parties and weddings.  Take a look at Mark's event page and check out the monthly schedule .  Hope to see you at a show!
